Soweto, South Africa"Plug & Play Sessions is a free Open Decks platform dedicated to growing and celebrating DJ culture in Orlando West, Soweto. Whether you're a seasoned selector or stepping behind the decks for the first time, you're invited to come share your favourite sounds with a community of music lovers, artists and fellow DJs.
Hosted in one of Soweto's few independent art galleries, the session offers more than just music. Expect an inspiring environment surrounded by original artworks, a welcoming crowd, and the warmth of open-flame firestands that create the perfect setting for connection, creativity and sonic exploration.
Participation operates on a first come, first play basis, giving every DJ an opportunity to showcase their style and contribute to the soundtrack of the evening. All genres are welcome.
