Good Morning Live

Samthing Soweto’s Good Morning Live takes place at THE BAXTER following his two-city run in Johannesburg an Durban, presenting a staged interpretation of his album Touch Is a Move: Good Morning. The performance follows a narrative structure that traces personal reflection through themes of upbringing, relationships and everyday life.
The show combines vocals, live instrumentation and minimal visual elements to maintain focus on storytelling. Each segment aligns with the sequence of the album, allowing the narrative to unfold in real time. The production remains intentionally restrained, favouring clarity and connection over spectacle, with audience engagement shaped through recognition of lived experience within the material.
