WBS (Wavah Broadcasting Services) is one of the leading television stations in Uganda. A Spear Group of Companies subsidiary, WBS was launched in 1999 as Uganda’s first privately owned non-pay TV, and has steadily evolved to one of East and Central Africa’s most watched and trusted TV-stations.
Transmitting on non-pay UHF channels across Uganda, WBS also broadcasts to the East and Central African region through satellite on DStv (285), GOtv (92), Zuku TV (28) platforms, as well as StarTimes (105) and Azam (141) digital TV networks.
