The Unorthodox is a dynamic South African hip-hop duo from Johannesburg's 2190 neighborhood, consisting of Rá.diant (Nhlakanipho Mngomezulu) and K.Villa (Moeketsi Mashigo).

Before forming The Unorthodox, both members were already making waves in their respective fields - K.Villa as a Top 3 winner in The Sunlight Bar Challenge, and Rá.diant as a Top 5 slam poet on 5FM
