Tyler Da Crisis

Tyler Da Crisis (real name Chimango Mkweu) is a musician from Zomba, Malawi. His music is rap. His interest of becoming a rapper began when he was 15. His inspiration was drawn from American rap icon Eminem. His music prompted him to regard music as his career.

He began working with the Daredevils on a song called ‘It’s My Time’. He has also worked with Fat-Lu and Ga Cypher on a song titled ‘Wadya Mtoliro’. The teamwork gave him the experience and energy that he wanted. Shortly afterwards he began to wite his own music and managed to release a mixtape titled ‘Broke and Almost Famous’. The mixtape was released after when he signed to B2 records. This was followed by his maiden single called ‘Joe Gwaladi’.
