Tahle We Dzinza
Bio
Tahle We Dzinza is a cross genre artist, songwriter and creative aged 24from Harare Zimbabwe.
The song bird is known for hauntingly beautiful vocals that fuse elements of opera, world music, African spiritual , jazz and asian influence.
At the age of 18, the vocal powerhouse was interviewed by CNN for her contribution to jazz music in Zimbabwe. Tahle continues to break barriers and uses her music to tell the stories of the African people authentically. She has starred as one of three lead performers in Zimbabwean award winning theatre production Bongile along side Zimbabwean Jazz legend Hope Masike. 2018 she was awarded the best cultural artist by the Zimbabwean Women Business Awards. In 2021 she scooped the best alternative artist for her Ep Rushesha by the Zimbabwean Music Awards.
She has performed at the HIFA Festival of the arts as well as the 2020 Nyege Nyege Festival in Uganda and continues to spread her wings through music.
Tahle is also passionate about youth related issues and is currently the youth ambassador for the IMUNZI group, helping raise awareness on mental health issues and reproductive health.
