The Sunday News is one of Zimbabwe's leading weekly newspapers published by Zimbabwe Newspapers 1980 Limited. It is published in Bulawayo under the Zimbabwe Newspapers (Zimpapers) stable. The publication is controlled by the state and has often been accused of being a mouth piece of the government. Its content centers on politics, business, entertainment, sports, leisure, agriculture, health and many more.
The newspaper has on several occasions been criticized by the civil society for reporting biased news in favor of ruling part ZANU-PF.
