Punah Gabasiane-Molale is a celebrated Motswana Afro-Jazz artist known for her powerful compositions, lyricism, and unique vocal style. Blending contemporary and traditional music, her artistry fuses Afro-hypnotic jazz with social commentary, creating a mesmerizing sound that resonates with both young and old. Punah is not just a musician but an advocate and a voice for key societal issues, dedicating her efforts to three national causes:

  1. Child Welfare: Every year, she raises funds for various non-profit organizations supporting children's needs.
  2. Gender-Based Violence (GBV): She is a founding member and chairperson of Children’s Love Botswana, an organization focused on GBV. As a GBV Brand Ambassador for Stepping Stones International, Punah spearheads campaigns on TV, radio, and newspapers, raising awareness on GBV and mobilizing communities to end violence.
  3. Raising the Botswana Brand: Through her music, Punah actively promotes Botswana's cultural identity and heritage globally.

In addition to her artistic career, Punah is also a seasoned Business Administrator with 12 years of experience in placing Batswana students in Canadian tertiary institutions. She has played a pivotal role in leading the World University Service of Canada’s student placement efforts, administering the Botswana Government Scholarship.
