POSEIDON

Yongama Mdludla, known professionally as POSEIDON and also JACK POSEIDON, is an Afro House and Tech producer based between Cape Town and the Eastern Cape. He describes his sound as Afrofuturistic house music — a sonic bridge between heritage and tomorrow, where traditional African rhythm meets expansive, tech-driven sound design.

Influenced by pioneering acts such as Black Motion, Culoe De Song, Caiiro, and mostly Masšh, POSEIDON’s productions balance spiritual atmosphere with dancefloor precision. His work is deeply informed by a love for Afrofuturistic art, using music as a medium to reimagine African identity through the lens of technology, cosmos, and lineage.

With upcoming releases including the collaborative track “Bokahohle” with fellow South African producer DJ PQ and his solo "WASTELANDS", POSEIDON is carving a lane defined by intention, atmosphere, and ancestral resonance. His sound seeks to move bodies while elevating spirits.
