Oliver N'Goma

Bio

Oliver N'Goma was born in Mayumba, Gabon in 1959 and died in 2010. He was passionate about music and film. In high school, he joined a school band called CapoSound, where he played a guitar.

N'Goma collected musical instruments, and turned one of is rooms into a home studio. He was a cameraman at Gabon's second TV channel, located in Paris. He was discovered by Manu Lima, one of the best producers in the African show scene. He was know to break or rise an artists career. N'Goma's unique tunes grabbed his attention, and he became his music director.
His first album Bane was made in 1990, which was received well by the public. It was made famous by the hit song named after the title of the album. He went on to make three more albums ADIA (1995), Saga(2006), and Seva (2001).
