Bio
I David Oluwaseun Obafemi, also popularly known as Noon Dave was born in Benin Republic on May 23. I’m a Nigerian singer/songwriter who is now currently signed to Chocolate City Music. I began writing songs at a young age. I spent the majority of my childhood in Lagos, Nigeria, and absorbed the majority of my inspirations there
In 2022, in signed a Recording Artist Agreement with Africa’s leading entertainment firm, Chocolate City music
Later that year, I released my debut track, "Brunch," a throwback with daring but not overly obscene lyrics.
Since its debut, the track "Brunch" has received approximately 1 million streams across all platforms.
Fast forward to 2023, i released "Hillary" on March 24. This scorching track isn't just music; it's a declaration against toxic love, a passionate plea for untamed hearts. With a million streams caressing its essence across digital realms, "Hillary" has become an anthem, an incendiary call echoing in the hearts of listeners.
I released the remix to the single "Hillary" featuring South African songstress Pabi Cooper in September 2023, This release was accompanied by a bright and exciting music video to complement the beautiful nature of the song and also widen my listening audience beyond Nigerian market.
I kickstarted the year 2024 on a high note with the release of "Noon At Noon" EP. With a collection of 5 songs ,then followed up with another single release, a song titled "Face Card" which is an anthem for the beautiful individuals
That same year i released my debut project "GEM" EP on the 13th of September 2024 - with showcase of my artistic range & evolution.
In 2025 i released 2 singles titled “ Believe & Orgazi “ then i did the first edition of my show “ Notes with noon” , It was a special and intimate event where i performed some released and unreleased songs to my fans
Fast forward to 2026 , I recently released my first single of the year “lotion” on march 12
