Founded in 2008, The Namibian Sun is a daily tabloid newspaper in Namibia that was launched on 21 September 2007. The publication began as a weekly with an initial print run of 36,000 copies. The paper is published mostly in English and Oshiwambo languages. Its target readership is between 18 and 40.
The Namibian Sun covers quite a number of sections such as local news, sports, business, entertainment, international news. Its entertainment section is sub-divided into different sections namely: theater, film and music.
