Music Kamp Afrika

Music Kamp Afrika is a four-day multicultural youth camp event that is organised to converge music-loving youths from all over Africa at Nigeria’s foremost beach resort - La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort in Lagos.

This project attracts a minimum of 200 young and talented musicians from across Africa and fosters a creative collaboration and networking amongst them. Participants will jointly create music, shoot musical videos and share the stage in performances. Renowned musicians and music industry professionals will also be having training and mentoring sessions with participants at the camp. In addition to musical performances, there are cultural exchange programs, fashion shows, games and lots of opportunities to network. Proceeds derived from the commercialization of the contents created at the camp will be channelled towards a charitable course that would be jointly agreed upon by all participants.

The key intention of Music Kamp Afrika 2016 is to provide opportunity for the participants to share their creative ideas and experience with their peers expected to join from different parts on the Africa. In addition, this gathering helps delegates to establish friendship or business relations as well as to find international linkage for future collaborations in their career path.

The project is organised by Tenstrings Music Institute in conjunction with La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort. Tenstrings is Nigeria’s leading college of music which currently ranks as the best spread and most patronised music school in Nigeria. Established about ten years ago, it has trained over 7000 persons since inception and currently runs in six study centers across the country.
