Make Maculuve

Make Maculuve, known by her stage name Pastor Maculuve is a female gospel artist from Swaziland. She is wife to gospel sensation Vusumuzi Maculuve. She began her music career with Apostle Vusumuzi and the Heavenly Kingdom Beneficiaries group. She later decided to pursue a solo career in 2010. Since then, she has managed to secure numerous international gigs as well as perform alongside some of the country’s established gospel acts at local events.

In November 2010, she released a solo debut album titled ‘Goliyadi Uyafa Namhlanje’. The project was produced by her husband and was recorded at Dem Dem studios. It features 10 traditional gospel tracks, plus an additional track, a sermon where Vusumuzi talks about celebrating wives.

This was followed by another album called ‘Congratulations (Siyakubongela)’ which was released on 26 February 2013. It features songs such as ‘Wangideletor Wena’, ‘Bayethe Nkosi Yami’, ‘Igama Lakho Jesu Lihle’, ‘Bophumula Abosizi’ and ‘Siyakunxusa Nkosi’ among others. It also includes a live sermon by the Apostle on what people should do when they feel like giving up.

On 27 April of that year, an estimated 32 local and international gospel acts performed during at the album launch that was held at the Light of Christ Church at Logoba, Matsapha. Some of the artists who performed include Emagawugawu, Shongwe and Khuphuka, Phathwakahle, Frans Dlamini and the Police Gospel Messengers.
