Bio
Nkosinolwazi Mdluli (born 01 November 1992), professionally known as Lwazi M. is a South African singer-songwriter from Gingindlovu, Emabhokweni Reserve, in Eshowe, KwaZulu-Natal.
Lwazi M began her professional music journey in 2018 with a collaboration titled “Impi Yegqomu” alongside DJ Raybel and Centreman. Although the track has not been officially released, it received strong positive feedback and generated notable public interest, marking an important milestone in her early career. Since then, she has continued to perform “Impi Yegqomu” at various events, including community functions, talent showcases, and music festivals.
An independent artist, Lwazi M manages her career without the backing of a recording label, publishing house, or marketing agency. Her hands-on approach reflects her dedication, entrepreneurial mindset, and commitment to building her brand organically within the music industry.
Her passion for music began at a young age, where she served as a leader in her church choir—an experience that helped shape her vocal ability and stage presence. After relocating to Durban in 2012, she recorded her first single with producer Sparks Bantwana. Although the song was never released, the experience proved pivotal, inspiring her to take her talent more seriously and invest fully in her artistic development.
Throughout her journey, Lwazi M has collaborated with various creatives, including dance groups and performance teams. Since 2018, she has worked consistently with a dedicated team of dancers who support her live performances and artistic vision.
In November 2019, she hosted her first annual homecoming event at Bhekamahubhu Lounge in Eshowe, further strengthening her connection with her hometown and growing fan base.
As an emerging artist, Lwazi M believes that talent must be matched with discipline, consistency, and hard work. She remains focused on expanding her reach and establishing herself as a formidable presence in the South African music industry.
