Bio

LoveLeigh is a Lecturer in Communication and an AFHEA Associate Fellow. She is also a unit leader and mentor to students of colour at the London College of Fashion.

As a practitioner working in communications, PR and event marketing across fashion, beauty, film, music and television, she has worked with bands and artists such as Nike, Jack Wills, The Sunday Telegraph ThandieKay, Black Hair & Beauty Magazine, Afro Hair & Beauty LIVE, Namaste Laboratories, Southbank Centre, Creative Director Harris Elliott, Mr Hare, and Samson Soboye.

In film and television, she has worked with The Africa Channel UK, Screen Nation and The British Urban Film Festival. Her music industry projects include working with MOBO Awards, Arista Records, Bad Boy Records and Columbia Records.

LoveLeigh curates content on Style Canteen, an African diaspora cultures social community, and set up UALWAA, The University of The Arts London first alumni group in West Africa. She is the co-founder of the fashion accessories label Sexie Booda, successfully launching in the UK and Japan with the family history collection, Afro Nostalgia.

LoveLeigh is interested in working with like-minded creatives creating telling stories that are diverse and inclusive.
