Gir Peter Mou Athuai, (born January, 8, 2007) better known as Lil Meek DC, is a South Sudanese rapper, singer, artist, dancer, songwriter, and activist. Born in Thiet Town, Tonj State, and raised in Philadelphia, Lil Meek DC began his music career as a battle rapper while studying in Uganda in 2020. He received support from his brother, Slate Nation, throughout his studies, and eventually learned to appreciate and work hard for a better life. In 2022, Lil Meek DC, a civil war child, emerged as a prominent figure in the African music scene.
