Lasi 10

Lasi 10 is a soulful Amapiano producer and DJ from the heart of Alexandra, Johannesburg. His music blends deep emotion with groove, creating a signature sound that stands out in the South African music scene. Starting out in 2015 at just 16 years old, Lasi first made his mark producing hip hop and drill, working closely with underground artists before stepping into the world of Amapiano in 2018.

One of his proudest achievements is producing Ferrelisis’ album Azkaban — a hard-hitting drill/hip hop project that went on to reach over 100,500 streams on Spotify. Lasi 10 also featured on the standout Amapiano single “Bao Tshwara Tshwara”, showing off his versatility as both a producer and artist.

Over the years, he’s carved out his own soulful lane in Amapiano, inspired by heavyweights like De Mthuda, Kelvin Momo, and Musa Keys, while staying rooted in his own story. Through his independent label, 2090 Records — built on the motto “good music to good people” — he’s released a strong discography, including:

He was crowned winner of the Alex FM DJs Knockout Competition in 2022, and has performed at venues like Junk Park, Thathe Inn, Fashion Bar, Alex Boulevard, and Ko 9.

His latest project, MusiQal Therapy, is a reflection of where he’s at artistically — soulful, healing, and honest. With each beat, Lasi 10 continues to build a movement rooted in sound, story, and soul.
