Hailing from the vibrant Tshidimbini village in Limpopo, LadyTiana has always been in tune with her musical roots. Her passion for music ignited at a young age, performing in talent shows during youth conferences at her church as early as 2009. However, it was the release of her debut single, “Mufunwa ndi ene,” at the age of 20 that marked the true beginning of her journey into the music industry.
In 2016, LadyTiana made her live performance debut at the “Fill up Mukula” event hosted by the charismatic Papa Thile. This milestone was followed by another significant performance at “Love Nests,” organized by Sliq Musiq Entertainment in 2017 at Ha-Mavhele in Pretoria. These early gigs paved the way for her burgeoning career and helped mold her stage presence.
LadyTiana's musical journey is deeply intertwined with her formative experiences. She fondly recalls the days spent singing in church alongside her fellow youth members. Inspired by iconic artists such as Rihanna and Beyoncé, she admired their powerful voices and captivating live performances. For her, music transcends mere hobby; it is an expressive avenue for her emotions and thoughts. A pivotal moment came during a concert at church when she felt an undeniable spark while performing live, solidifying her aspiration to pursue music professionally. Throughout her career, LadyTiana has collaborated with notable artists including 2idiots of House, Lunar, Stoner, Wu Kid, Meskay, Owi Jayson, Romeo Thagreatwhite, Facebreezy, and PH Uknow. Her talent has not gone unnoticed—she was nominated for Best Soul and RnB Artist at MAMA24 and MAMA25, showcasing her growing prominence in the music scene. Additionally, she has had the honor of performing at high-profile events, including the Sneaker Festival hosted by Ndika and Killer B’s birthday celebration.
Excitement bubbles within LadyTiana as she gears up to release her first EP this June, which promises to showcase a fresh sound and style. Looking ahead to the next 5-10 years, she aims to establish herself as a leading artist in her genre, building a loyal fan base and gaining critical acclaim.
