Khama III Memorial Museum

Bio

Founded in 1985, Khama III Memorial Museum shows the history of the Khama family. It is one of the most important dynasties in Southern Africa which includes the personal effects of Chief Khama III, his descendants and various artefacts about Serowe’s history. There are also exhibits on African insects and snakes, San culture and temporary art displays. The museum welcomes donations. It is open from Tuesday to Friday at 08h00am until 17h00pm and at 10h00am until 16h30pm on Saturdays.
