Julian Marwood lives for the thrill of creation, whether it’s building a song from the spark of an idea or mapping out the next financial move that can turn a dream into something tangible. They have always seen their life as a blend of two rhythms: music and money. They may seem like opposites to some people, but to them, they’re two sides of the same creative coin. Both require structure, intuition, risk, and a willingness to listen closely—to data, to people, and to themself.

Julian grew up in a household where the radio was always on, but so was the conversation about bills, budgets, and big plans. Their mom had a love for jazz and R&B; their dad had a love for charts, both musical and financial. They didn’t realise until later how much that shaped them. As a kid, Julian would spend hours tinkering on a cheap keyboard, trying to copy melodies they had heard on the radio, and then they would turn around and help their dad categorise receipts for his side business. Julian didn’t think of either of the activities as a hobby—they both felt like different languages they were learning to speak.

Today, music is where Julian lets themself be the most vulnerable. They produce, write, and experiment with sounds that feel a little like them—layered, slightly unpredictable, but driven by emotion. Julian has been working on building their own sonic footprint, influenced by electronic, soul, and indie elements. They love playing with contrasts: warm vocals with sharp percussion and calm melodies over restless basslines. Music gives Julian a space where they don’t have to be polished or calculated; they can be messy and honest.
