Bio
Peter Saka, known by the brand name Jagita, is a Kenyan gospel singer and guitarist in the SDA Church. A second-born in his family, his parents describe him as different from his other siblings. He is known for his unique composition. Some listeners describe his compositions as international – songs with the potential to appeal to a wide audience, not just the Seventh Day Adventists. He may not yet be a household name, Jagita has made a full-time career for himself doing what he loves.
He first sang as a hobby musician for 13 years until May 2024 when he founded Jagita Gospel Band, a Nairobi-based band singing gospel songs at Weddings, Corporate Events, & Private Parties. 2024 was a year of great overhaul for his music career. He founded #1000soulsweekly. He urges parents to nurture talents in their kids, because talent is the greatest employer now and in future.
