Ieva Oxenbury

Over 20 years of experience working in the music industry with proven success, leading transformation with a lasting legacy. I am a recognised expert in neighbouring rights and collective management. Connecting every artist and rights holder with their royalties is the purpose that drives me. I am known for my perseverance, creativity, innovative approach, and a touch of humour in solving complex challenges.

My work experience includes overseeing and working with neighbouring rights MLCs (Music Licensing Companies aka CMOs) globally for seven years at IFPI, encouraging performance improvement through implementing best practices and innovation and advising them on licensing, rate setting, operations and revenue distribution. Before that, I set up and ran the performers’ and labels/producers’ MLC LaIPA in Latvia for ten years. I have also represented major record companies - Sony, Warner, UMG - in the Baltics in their work with MLCs generating substantial revenue increases and ran projects on collective management in Kenya and Indonesia.
