Crater Lake Camp

Tucked away in a hidden corner of Kenya's Great Rift Valley, Crater Lake offers a stirring encounter with wild Africa, just 90 minutes drive from downtown Nairobi.The camp is built on the shores of a green volcanic lake in the bottom of an old volcanic crater.

The crater is 87 hectares in extent and the lake takes up to 14 hectares of this area.Over the last four years,the camp has been awarded a total of four awards by the Kenya travel Magazine 'Travel News and Lifestyle' including Best tented camp in Kenya and Best Weekend getaway.It has also gained the reputation of being the most romantic camp in Kenya, hosting a number of weddings.The camp is open for 24 hours.
