Bruna Tatiana Lemmas Estevão, born on November 17, 1978, in Lobito, Benguela Province, Angola, is a celebrated Angolan singer-songwriter, entrepreneur, and performer. She is known for her sensual vocal tone and fusion of kizomba, R&B, and Afro-zouk. Bruna's musical journey began in Angola, where she was exposed to local rhythms like semba and kizomba. She later moved to the United States to study Musical Arts and Vocal Performance at Montgomery College. Her time abroad sharpened her musical technique and stagecraft, leading to her signature sound—a blend of Angolan emotion and American R&B finesse. Bruna is also the mother of one daughter, Ádria Dayomi, born in Rome, Italy, on January 21, 2013, from her relationship with Mario Cadete. She currently resides between Luanda and Lisbon, balancing her career and motherhood. Bruna has openly discussed motherhood as one of her greatest inspirations, influencing her later songwriting themes of self-love, healing, and female empowerment.
