Blaze

Blaze (real name Chilekwa .B.) is a Zambian gospel hip-hop artist. His stage name was inspired by a biblical verses Psalm 104:4 and Hebrews 1:7. Born and raised in Lusaka, Blaze discovered his gift of rapping in high School together with a couple of school mates. They formed a rap group called Fresh 2 Death. The group didn't last long. He was biptised soon after completing his high school. This saw him focusing on preaching the Gospel and later met Magnus Mando a.k.a Mag44. Mag44 helped him to establish his name in the country's hip-hop scenery. Shortly afterwards, Blaze featured on the 911 'Kachimfya' track which was produced by Mag44.
