Barnaba

Elias Barnaba born and raised in Dar es salaam and known as Barnaba is one of the best male vocalists in Tanzania and east Africa. 

He is a Tanzanian musician, songwriter, singer and record producer. He began his musical career after getting enough music skills from Tanzania House of Talents (THT) hub where musician aspirants were being raised and nurtured. He joined THT hub in 2005 and in 2006 he released his first song. 

Outside of his musical career Barnaba has also attained significant success and media attention for his career as a songwriter and record producer. 

Barnaba is one of East Africa’s best selling music artists, with over 4 albums and more than 100 singles sold worldwide. 

He has won a total of 2 Awards dignifying him as the best male vocalist in Tanzania. He has been ranked by Kilimanjaro music awards among the best artists and he became the first musician to receive the best male vocalist award in Tanzania.
