Ak Songstress (Akosua Kwakye) is a Ghanaian performing artist. The singer, who works in the reggae/dancehall genre, found her gift early in life and was a performer in secondary school. She is renowned for her energetic onstage performance.
She is the first female to ever win the ‘Discovery of the Year for Dancehall/Reggae Artiste’ at the 2014 BASS Awards. She won the award for The Best Female Musician (GH) City People Entertainment Awards Nigeria in 2015. She also won the best female vocalist Bass Awards 2015.
