About Me
Francis Masina was born 43 years ago in the village called Kanana near Rustenburg in North West Province.i developed the love of music at early age around 1993 when kwaito music was born i fell in love with it.i was inspired by great musicians of that time the likes of Arthur Mafokate from 999 Music,Don Laka from Kalawa Music,Mdu Masilela from Mdu Music etc.
After completing my senior certificate i never looked back,i went to Johannesburg Gauteng Province to further my studies in music.in the year 2001 i enrolled at East Side College for National Diploma In Music Technology.i never completed the course programme due to financial crisis.in the year 2002 East Side College was merged with other colleges,then Central Johannesburg College was born till to date.Central Johannesburg College has produced prominent musicians just to mention a few Siphokazi Matlala,Jaziel Brothers and many more.
In the year 2003 i got a peace job at giant retail chain store pnp.i worked there as a shelf-packer the reason for that was to raise some funds.

Education Background
in the year 2004 i enrolled once again at Sound Of Sound Audio Training for a 2 year Sound Engineering Diploma Course,i was also taking a private lesson in bass guitar taught by the legendary Mr Mzwadile Kunene.after completing my Sound Engineering Diploma course programme,i then started freelancing for various recording studios for both as a session keyboardist and sound engineer.just to mention a few companies i have worked for.........................

In the year 2013 i was approached by Gtp/Imexsa to work for them as the talent scouter.i toured with them all 9 provinces in south africa in search for raw talent under music sector.it was between 2013-2017.in the year 2018 i toured with them once again,this time was the united states of America for 2 weeks at sxsw conference.

In the year 2019 i decided to leave the lime life of joburg,and come back home in Rustenburg North West Province.i am currently based here.i established a local jazz band called Medumo Jazz Band,which consist of 5 piece outfit band...
