As the mother of media mogul Nyanzi Martin Luther and daughters Nakaayi Dorcus and Nabagulanyi Patricia, she has gained recognition for her book "Nyanzi Martin Luther's Journey To Success", highlighting her son's path to success.

Joan serves as the CFO of Block FM and Secretary of the National Association of Online Broadcasters and Publishers (NAOBP), showcasing her involvement in Uganda's media industry.
