Howard & Dzanambira Crew

Howard Harimedi is a celebrated Zimbabwean mbira artist and founder of Dzanambira Crew, known for blending traditional mbira with modern performance styles. Starting his journey in the late 1990s under Lifati Harimedi at Madzimbahwe, Howard has performed alongside legends like Oliver Mtukudzi, Chiwoniso Maraire, and Victor Kunonga.

His standout moments include the Peace Festival (2008), Unity Gala (2010), Chibuku Road to Fame (Top 3), and major festivals like Bocap Exposure and Chimurenga Mbira Festival. Between 2014–2016, he collaborated with top promoters such as Chipaz Promotions and the late Regis Munhenzva, touring across Zimbabwe.

A passionate mentor and cultural advocate, Howard continues to champion Zimbabwean traditional music as a force for unity, healing, and empowerment.
