D.E.Z.Z

South African rapper/producer D.E.Z.Z was born Omphile Desmond Motlhaping on the 17th of October in the year 2000. Born in Centurion and raised in Mafikeng, he grew up with an undeniable love for music but believed he would be more passionate with his studies and as a scholar. At age 14, he started to write his own raps with his friends. He was sent to boarding school shortly after and began producing at age 15, where his love for music only grew and he knew that it was what he wanted for his life. After completing high school, he decided to take it further by studying sound engineering at the Academy of Sound Engineering and graduated with a Diploma in Audio Technology. He went on to release a few singles and features before releasing his first full-length project of 11 songs in 2024, titled "FLIGHT MODE".
