Hlomisa Nqayana

Born in 1994, Hlomisa Nqayana is a South African actress and aspiring filmmaker originally from the Eastern Cape, who grew up in Rustenburg and is currently based in Johannesburg. She completed her matric in 2013 with a Bachelor’s pass and went on to study Business Management N6 from 2015 to 2017. Driven by her passion for performance, music, and storytelling, Hlomisa attended local acting classes and secured roles in local film productions. She enrolled at Revolution Media Academy, where she completed Film and TV Production Level 5 in 2025. In 2023, she completed Sound Technology Level 5, gaining hands-on experience in sound recording, boom operation, audio mixing, post-production sound, and working with industry-standard equipment for film and television. Her strong passion for music continues to influence her creative approach to sound and storytelling. Hlomisa is committed to growing her career both in front of and behind the camera, combining film, sound, and music to tell meaningful stories.
