MystiQ the Mysterious

Sonneke Duvenhage was Born 18 March 1981 in Roodepoort South-Africa.  Professionally known as MystiQ the Mysterious, she grew up on a farm with her mom, dad and younger brother just outside of Bela- Bela. From a very young age she loved music and remembers how  her mom used to sit with her by her organ. Playing on hearing only, she developed her own unique style and sense of music – Today she still plays on hearing and composes her own songs. Having been influenced by the likes of EMINEM, Bok Van Blerk, and Celine Dion, MystiQ the Mysterious has taken control of her fate with her passion for the arts, and music, launching her career finally as a musician in 2020. She also became a youth leader and motivational speaker to traumatized and abused victims. She says “Music speaks to us at a spiritual level, therefore, using music, we can impact people’s lives. At the most basic level."

With her combined talent as a creative art and graphic designer, singer, songwriter and Prolific writer her artistry has been described as captivating, diverse, and astounding. Her Debut Single MystiQ Dis Ek was released in December of 2022, and it is much talked about between all of her fans. MystiQ is also known for other single releases like Dankie Pappa, Africa Unite, A mother’s Heavy heart, Best I can & Many souls one Destiny. MystiQ has indeed grown into a passionate vocalist. She is always up for collaborating and working with other cultures, creating unique sounds to captivate the ears of many listeners. Her songwriting  will capture, move, and inspire the souls of many.

MystiQ is a self-made all round artist who makes (RNB, hip-hop, country, Indie Pop, dance and singer songwriter to mention a few genre’s of her music),  from the Gauteng Province. Known for her first original song, Many souls One Destiny. MystiQ Started out knowing very little about the industry, & with no job or income, was determined to make waves, so she could help others,  facing the same struggle, with a little push and motivation. She wanted to prove to many that having no money does not limit you to shine like a star.

Doing everything herself, including the final product with self-study, and exploration. This artist still amazes her fans with her capabilities. She has indeed grown into an amazing artist, and many look up to her. MystiQ Is always looking out for those less fortunate than her, and aids the youth in  their talent growth. She collaborates with them to be motivated stars of tomorrow.

MystiQ was scouted by Vanessa Morgan on Reverbnation in 2022 and brought over to POZE PRODUCTIONS where she has been featured on POZE RADIO and VAMO RADIO with airplay for multiple tracks, as well as ROKU TV with her music Video Best I can- for Fibromyalgia awareness, and Many souls One Destiny.  She  also featured as a VIP artist for A month through POZE PRODUCTIONS.
