EVEN partners with Revelator to ‘rev up’ music distribution
New York-based direct-to-consumer music platform EVEN has partnered with digital IP infrastructure provider Revelator.
Founded in 2022 by Mag Rodriguez, EVEN enables mutual financial support between artists and their fans. Revelator, on the other hand, features an all-in-one distribution platform, Web3 tools, and API. It streamlines operations like royalty management, metadata handling, and financial reporting while offering services in catalogue management, rights, and income tracking.
According to a statement, the arrangement empowers artists and labels to connect more deeply with fans and monetise their music through EVEN. It allows Revelator clients to use EVEN directly from its marketplace without going through its standard verification process.
The move also includes specialised marketing services for select artists, offering paid ad support, creative services, and more.
“We’re excited to see what we can create together,” EVEN, officially launched in April after a year of beta testing, said. The platform claims to support global payments in over 135 currencies and is the first superfan app to report sales for Billboard charting via Luminate.
EVEN has over 10 000 artists already onboard, with aims to add 3 million more to its distribution network by Q3.
“I set out to build EVEN to fill a need for both artists and fans,” Rodriguez said at the launch. “Artists want to own the relationship with their fans and fans want direct proximity to their favourite artist. EVEN is designed to grow the music industry’s pie. With EVEN, artists have the opportunity to sell their music first, directly to their fans before its wide release on streaming platforms. It’s not EVEN or streaming platforms, it’s EVEN and streaming platforms. With this launch, EVEN continues to fulfil this proposition. I couldn’t be prouder of our team and all of our artist, label and distributor partners.”
Meanwhile, last month, Revelator joined forces with business growth accelerator and consultancy Triple G Ventures, with the latter's Gregg Stein, who boasts over 20 years of executive leadership experience, being named as Revelator’s new chief marketing officer.
“We are excited to partner with Revelator in this transformative journey. Our goal is to build upon Revelator’s success and expand its reach in the broader market, empowering artists and rights holders with transparent and efficient solutions,” Stein said.
