Call for registration: South African Cultural Observatory workshop in Mthatha
Statistics and socio-economic research institute the South African Cultural Observatory (SACO) is calling on interested individuals to attend its dissemination workshop in Mthatha on 26 February.
The workshop is intended to educate participants on the role played by cultural and creative industries in growth and development, job creation, transformation and social cohesion.
To attend the workshop, participants should register here or send an SMS or WhatsApp message to 063 639 7653. Entry to the workshop will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
The registration deadline is 21 February.

- Overview of the National Research Agenda and recent inputs and updates.
- Outline of SACO research outputs and how they benefit the industry.
- Introduction to the SA Festival Economic Impact Calculator.
- Insights from the experts: marketing, business and best practices.
