Young Smart believes in versatility and fusion which applies to everything he does including singing, rapping, music production, video production, piano, bass guitar and drums playing, stage lights engineering among other skills he owns and have developed professionally. He has been able to win many awards for his work on platforms such as India's Songdew, Kenyan Nation Fm's 7 top 7 among other internantionally respected award platforms.

Young Smart stands out with his fearless spirit in uniqueness formed by his relentless fusion of different sounds, genres and even styles to evoke specific emotions in every project. Perfect example is seen in songs such as Wampakacha, Sombe, Success, Kenga, Shenaniguns and Lonely to mention just a few. In Shenaniguns for example, Young Smart deliberately distorted the beats in the mixing phase and collaborated with Alvinos Zavlis in the mastering phase to Curb the excecess but still leave in the distortion with the intent of archieving an absolute hard hitting version of the song.

The future of Young Smart is simply being able to create a fearless space where people can express what they'd normally hide away for not being mainstream and help others archive a perfect blend if such a thing exists.
