This is Uganda Festival

This is Uganda's main goal is to empower Uganda’s youth, with a focus on musicians and artists. They do this by involving them in the organization and by organizing a yearly talent show in a search for Uganda’s upcoming talents. They involve many local companies and individuals in the process, stimulating local trade.

In time they will have formed a group of Ugandans who will take over the organization of events in Uganda. This is Uganda works together with women rights-, environmental- and HIV/Aids organizations, to spread information and open up public debate.

With over 2.000 visitors and a diverse program of music, dance, sports and the help of many companies and individuals, the 2010 edition of the This is Uganda Festival has created a solid base for their organization.
