Soweto Opera Quadro

Bio

Soweto Opera Quadro is a classical pop band based in South Africa.

The band was formed in 2003 and released their debut album called Brothers in song and toured China Nanning folk festival, Nigeria global Caf Awards, Namibia, Botswana, Mozambique, Swaziland, Germany and Lesotho.

Soweto Opera Quadro was nominated and performed at Safta awards in South Africa, Westbank car of the year Presidential inauguration for the president, Primier awards to name few. The band has released its second album called Thanks giving and recorded a live DVD at Soweto theatre, Baxter theater in Cape Town and Durban Play house.

Currently Soweto Opera quadro is recording a new album to be realised this year. Our band had grown over the years and have development a program for underprivileged school in the rural areas and townships for music development and talent scouting.
