The Sons of the Sun are an African rock band formed in Nyeri, Kenya, in 2020 by Daniel Mwangi. With a line-up comprising Daniel Mwangi, Dan Wilson Karari, Ben Kigera, and Evans Siele, they are the pioneers of Indie Rock in Kenya and East Africa. Rooted in pop, beat, and British rock and roll, their sound incorporated elements of classical music and traditional pop in innovative ways.
