Rokhaya Daba Sarr


Rokhaya Daba Sarr is the director of the Africa Fête festival, one of the most important festivals in Senegal and in francophone Africa.

She is also the head of Tringa Musiques et Développement, the organisation best known for managing the Africa Fête festival. Daba Sarr began running Africa Fête in 2007 when its founder, Mamadou Konté, died. With 16 editions in Senegal, 12 in France and six in the US, the festival is among the most prominent events on the African music landscape.
