Primus Guma Guma Superstar Competition

Primus Guma Guma competition offers Rwandan music fans fantastic moments for the months in which it is held. The ten participating contestants tour the country through road shows culminating in two elimination phases, live on TV, which further heat up the competition.

Tens of thousands of Rwandans vote for their favorite artist during the heats, the voting public setting the destiny of the Primus Guma Guma Superstar contestants. Through their votes, Rwandans decide who to eliminate and who proceeds to the final 4, competing for the title of Primus Guma Guma Superstar.

With the objective of improving music in Rwanda and encouraging music talents, Primus in collaboration with East African Promoters (EAP) do the best to keep their promises to offer the best of Rwandan Musicians to their fans.
