Ovation and FaB Fusion Band is one of the most sensational live band in Zimbabwe. Each band member has a previous successful, outstanding and innovative solo career. They teamed up in October 2014 and ever since, kept showcasing their diverse musical fusion at various venues and functions. The six peace band is now one of the country’s best loved and most sought after group. In April 2017 Each band member of Ovation and FaB Fusion Band put an input on their cd project. Fusing each member’s different vibes and style, Without compromising each member’s creativeness, the band came up with a new sound, which distinctively is its own and this saw them launch their CD called Mixed Bag. As the name explains itself, the sound is genuine and original, a fusion of different genres with a super strong African feel. Their music ranges from delicate soulful love songs to upbeat rocking dance tunes that appeal to all music lovers... 2016 and 2017 saw the Afro Fusion band- Ovation and FaB Fusion embarking on spectacular projects. As they have all different tastes of music genres they Hosted the successful “ALL THAT JAZZ” shows in the country. Ever since, it has become a show Ovation and FaB Fusion Band hold annually. ALL THAT JAZZ is a collaboration show with different artists. Fusing all different kinds of jazz from classical to township to contemporary. They have collaborated with more than 11 artists from all over the world, And from all five continents. Undoubtedly the band Ovation and FaB Fusion has astounded audiences with their thrilling Stage presence. 2017 and 2018, The versatile band collaborated with a band from Japan. Creating an Afro-Jap sound. The Japanese band - IYCO and Kakafuraha and the Zimbabwean band worked on a collaboration Album and have toured Zimbabwe, Malawi and Ghana spreading their Afro Jap fusion. They also have graced a few international festivals in Africa.
