Music Week Africa

Music Week Africa is an international conference that explores the entire music landscape for Africa. The creative, business, supporting technology, music policies, trends and growth sectors are all covered by respective players in the music space across various countries in Africa.

The intentions of the conference includes:
1. Providing a business networking platform for musicians, professionals and other players in the music industry, brands as well as fans.
2. Enlightening sector practitioners, investors, policy makers with relevant insights applicable to them.
3. Creating the setting for brand sponsors to access African and international audiences through the range of planned events.

Although its first edition is scheduled for 2016, Music Week Africa was launched in Lagos in 2015. Audu Maikori, former head of Chocolate City record label, is the founder of the all-inclusive conference.
