Moon Rock Festival

Moon Rock Festival is a Malawian three day music event which celebrates talent amongst artists. It was established to fill some of the gaps left by music festivals like the annual Lake of Stars, a festival for which Malawi is well known, was cancelled. The fete features artists, DJ’s and bands from across Malawi.

It is run under the patronage of Wilderness Safaris and other sponsors. Many artists have attended the event and this includes Peter Mawanga and the Amaravi Movement, Mafilika, Body Mind and Soul, Music band, Konkalazi band, Sally Nyundo, Young Chilaga and the Black Survivors band, Mark Haze and the 12th Avenue Band.
