Lwazi Kana, also known as Lwaistar, is an artist and cultural creative from Qonce, Eastern Cape. Known for his gritty storytelling and cinematic sound, Lwaistar has independently released five music projects, from his debut mixtape Paradise Eventually to his latest album Imvuselelo, steadily carving out a voice that blends township truth with a global tone.
Over the years, Lwaistar has collaborated with some of South Africa’s most respected names, including Zulumecca, Lemogang Tsipa, M2KaN3, Maraza, and Stogie T. His style fuses isiXhosa expression with sharp lyricism and trap-influenced production, creating music that resonates both in the streets and in curated spaces.
