Lil G

Born 20 March 1994 in Kicukiro-Kigali, Lil G (real name Karangwa Lionel) is a rapper from Kigali, Rwanda. He is the fourth child in a family of seven children. His music career kick-started in 2006. He hogged the limelight in 2007 when Contact FM organised a free style music competition where he emerged the best. A number of local producers such as Jay P began soliciting contracts with Lil G.

He was nominated four times at the Salax awards, he only scooped two awards. He has done collaborations with some of the best artists in the country. Such include Akagozi, Jay Polyy, Gakoni Kabakobwa, Sudi Mavenge and many others.
