Bio

Born Hassaradji Figueiredo, KasiSwaggBoi is a hip-hop artist from Swaziland. He was born on 22 February 1990. He became recognized in the country’s music industry through the help of Lisa Nkambule who used to manage his musical affairs back in 2012. He began his music career in 2004 under the mentorship of Tallica Reez, the then rap mogul of the Swazi hip-hop scene. KSB drew his inspiration from listening to the likes of DMX, Eminem, Pro (SA) and Zabs (SA), who he says all inspired him to do music. Raised in a Portuguese cultured family, he grew up living with both parents and three siblings. He attended Mater Dolorosa High and WEM Schools.

He has worked with Swazi recognised household name M.P. and King Terry back in high school. KSB is a multi-lingual hip-hop artist who has the ability to fuse Portuguese, siSwati and English lyrics. In 2012, he released his first single titled ‘Nguwe’. The song received massive airplay on SBIS2 91.6 FM.

In 2015, he released a hit single titled ‘3WhiteCups’. Before the single, he made headlines with a hit single titled ‘AboRinga Mo’. The song was number one for three consecutive weeks on the local top 20 chart show in 2014.

While in South Africa, he met Zimbabwean hip-hop producer Alex Muti in 2015. The two formed a musical relationship and began working on ‘#3WhiteCups’. He has also worked with artists such as Izie, M.P., A.P., Kena, DeeFlava, Extinct Breed, Ranzo, Young Percy, Young Ksb, D’Alaram and Producer Gongz amongst others.
