Joy Joseph

Joy Joseph (real name Joy Osemiebi Loveday) is one of Nigeria’s foremost female gospel vocalists and entertainer from Port Harcourt, Nigeria. She was born on 22 December in Port Harcourt. She started singing, writing and composing songs at a very tender age. She joined a children's choir at the age of 12. She was then appointed the music director. She is also a gifted drummer who has challenged other children to learn how to play drums. While at school, she was always identified for her special singing ability.

In 2004, she received the Perl Music award. This was followed by the Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) music award which she received in in 2008.

In 2013, she released her debut album titled 'Use Me'. It was produced and released in 2013. The song was produced by Wale Babz. As an artist, she has performed in various events and shows within different parts of Nigeria. She is known for her inspiring lyrics music. Her aim is to reach the world with the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ through music.

Besides music, she is a graduate of Environmental and Safety Engineering.
