Josh Swanson
Bio
Josh Swanson is a guitarist from South Africa. At age 11 Josh was given a second hand guitar and through the use of books and experimentation Josh taught himself to play. Josh continued to teach himself guitar, following the Trinity programme, and his passion for music and guitar led him to the Foundation music programme offered by UKZN. This platform led Josh to enter and complete the BMUS Degree programme at UKZN having had no formal music training up to that point. Josh is interested in, and plays, many genres of music however it was on the Foundation music programme that Josh developed a love for the Jazz genre.
